Hi, you! Thanks for reading I’m calling this space “Hi, Felicia,” and you can subscribe by adding your email to the subscription box at the end of this post.

I have some publications news I’ve been sitting on that’s not quite ready for the world yet, but stay tuned!

Going forward, I’ll post when there are things afoot in my writerly and art worlds.

Ceramics

In art news, starting September 18, I’ll have a couple of sculptures at Transmission Gallery, Oakland (opening reception is September 20, 2-5pm, and I’ll be there if you want to say hi!). I’m super excited to be showing at such a wonderful gallery. Both pieces are part of the Pint Size 3 show, and will be for sale.

My Quail and Vulture sculptures are still on view at the Marin Society of Artists in San Rafael (NFS). The last day for that show is September 6, so there’s still time to see all the incredible assemblage and ceramics work selected.

Batman

I suspect some folks would like an update on the health of Batman (my cat, pictured in the header), so here we go! He’s quite possible the world’s cutest, and grumpiest, flower cone wearer and I love him to pieces. The good news is, the cone is gone, and he doesn’t need further treatment after having a cancerous mass removed. He’s moving slowly these days, but that’s to be expected for a 15 year old with failing kidneys and arthritis. I’m grateful for every day I get to have with him.

Thank YOU for Subscribing!

That’s it for now. I’ll be back when there’s news to share, and I’ll plan to keep any and all posts short and sweet See you on the socials and various virtual spaces, or here, at “Hi, Felicia.”
